Can Tesla be successful in India?
There is news that Tesla model 3 pre-bookings are going to be open in India from 2021(Click here to know), I don't think Tesla is going to be successful in India.
Well, Let me tell you briefly,Tesla vehicles predict the traffic and maintain accuracy according to their fleet management system. A fleet contains specific images of some real-world challenging circumstances and it'll make decisions based on that fleet, and moreover, tesla's main idea is to make transportation eco-friendly and Elon Musk taking each and every step towards that by starting the Giga factory and Solar City.

These all are fine until Tesla is confined to western countries, but when it comes to India, the fleet will completely go wrong, they cannot use their fleet data here as a result autonomous system should start adopting the environments from scratch.
The fleet will Go wrong because,
- Traffic rules may vary.
- Traffic signs will vary.
- I think Tesla cars predict their path based on lane lines(at least one lane line should be there), when it comes to India there will be no plan lines for most of the roads.
Indian Roads, where even a human can't predict whether there is road or water.
When it comes to eco-friendly transportation, most of the electricity in India is generated with the help of "Coal", which is harmful to the environment, So in-order to charge an electric car we need to consume lots of electricity which was generated with the help of coal.
